A couple of months ago I posted a blog that Mike was receiving an award and medal called the NAM (Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal) and on Thursday, they finally had his ceremony and gave it to him, I am SO proud! Even though I knew what the medal stood for, reading what they said about him on his award made me so emotional, I am SO blessed to be married to such a wonderful and honorable man!

"For Professional Achievement as a Culinary Specialist and Barracks Manager in Carrier Airbone Early Warning Squadron 113 From June 2004 to March 2008. Demonstrating Unparalleled Professionalism, His Hands-On Leadership As Barracks Manager Significantly IMproved the Living Conditions and Morale for Over 75 Enlisted Personnel. His Vision and Resourcefulness Were Vital in Preparing and Executing 11 Fundraising Events During Two Detachments to Naval Station Fallon, Nevada, Resulting in a $12,000 Boost in MWR Funds. Leading a Team of Four Culinary Specialists, He Dedicated Countless Hours on a Limited Budget Catering a Change of Command Reception for the Commander, Airborne Command and Control Logistics Wing, and Over 100 Distinguished Visitors, Receiving Great Accolades From All Participants. Petty Officer Kincaids's Exceptional Proffesionalism, Unrelenting Perserverance, and Loyal Devotion to Duty Reflected Credit Upon Him and Were in Keeping with the Highest Traditions of the United States Naval Service."
