Mugu Beach Trip
Mike had watch this past Sunday, so I brought Brayden to the base so we could visit him! We decided to take him to the beach and went for a short walk with him and got some adorable pictures! Daddy even found a whole sand dollar for him just like he did for me the first time him and I went to the beach together; brought back good memories!!
Brayden seemed to like the few seconds we let his feet be in the water, and loved looking at everything as we walked around with him wrapped up in the blanket, but didnt like the slight breeze that was blowing! He was ready to go by the time we were leaving! He is such a character! Anyways, here are a few pics we snapped!

Pumpkin Patch!
We had a great time just walking around and snapping shots of him. People were stopping left and right to tell us just how cute he is, we have to say that we agree! He is SUPER cute in his Halloween costume which I tried on him the other day, but you will all have to wait for pictures of him in it! Anways, here are some pictures from our outing...
(this last one was funny, all packed up and ready for the move ;) )!
(look at his chubby belly!)

Cousin Time!
I still have yet to upload the pics from the zoo, and will probably do it either later tomorrow afternoon after the pumpkin patch, or sometime on Sunday. In the meantime, Mike, Brayden, and I all went to visit the Kraft family (my brother, Brian, sis-in-law, Spring, and my nephews Gregory and Adam) and my sister-in-law got some great shots!
Their blog address is: http://www.kraftygang.blogspot.com/.
It's the most recent post on their blog right now :)! Enjoy!
P.S. In the last two days Brayden has become quite the chatterbox! He has figured out how to make the "Oh" sound and does so all the time! Of course he didnt do it while we were at the Kraft house today, but was doing it all morning, and was just chatting away with Daddy and I right now before he fell asleep for his afternoon nap, we love these milestones! :) SOOOO adorable!

San Diego...
was a lot of fun! It was a super quick trip, but realllly enjoyable! Much needed family time for the three of us!
First off, most of you know that we were going down there to see an allergy specialist for Mike. Every 6 months while a sailor is on Limited Duty, they get re-evaluated for their condition. Mike just recently had his medical evaluation, and the Navy decided that they may medically discharge him early because he cannot perform his Culinary Specialist job. Also, they needed to evaluate him to see if he will receive any veterans benefits (medical help/pay) after the Navy since he acquired his condition while serving. We were quite surprised by the outcome of his appt today.
The lieutenant that performed his allergy testing informed Mike (I couldnt go in for the appt) that his allergy is much more severe than we were aware. They did about 50 allergen tests on his back, and the 3 fish allergens they did were very reactive. Thankfully he is not allergic to anything else they tested him for. However, she let Mike know that his allergy is serious enough that we need to get him a medical ID bracelet or necklace to keep on him at all times explaining his condition and what to do if he goes into anaphalactic shock. She also let him know that when we eat out at restaraunts, we need to be very careful and let the staff know about Mike's allergy, because even cross-using a utensil could result in a serious/perhaps fatal attack. Very scary for me to think about that! Have to make sure when we are at family and friends hosues as well that fish wont be served, because its not only that Mike cant eat it, but it even being in the air or around him can set on an attack! We are super thankful that he has not had an allergic reaction since his time on the ship and pray that we never experience it again. Please keep him, and his overall health in your prayers! The information the LC collected will now go to a board on the Mugu base and we'll see what happens from there. Hurry up and wait as the military says :)!
Our time at the Zoo was wonderful. Mike apparently went there when he was very young, and I had never been! It was SO much fun! It was definetely a long and hot day, but Brayden did amazing! He slept a lot of the time we were there, but was awake for the giraffes, elephants, the big cats, and some of the other animals too! We had a fun experience while visiting the mountain lions. There is a fence and a bush separating you from the cage, so when the animal is in front, they are only about 2 feet away. Mike was holding Brayden at this part of the day, and the female mountain lion took quite an interest in our little guy, Mike would walk back and forth in front of the cage and she would just pace and follow them. At one point Brayden made a noise and she growled and pawed at the fence! She thought our little guy could be her afternoon snack! I got some pictures of that specific experience, along with a bunch more of the rest of the time at the zoo! Mike's two favorite animals were the tiger, who was very close to the glass and just beautiful, and of course, his favorite animal/reptile in the world, the anaconda, which was HUGE! I loved both those animals too, and the adorable pandas, and my favorite zoo animal, the giraffes as well! Not quite sure what Brayden's favorite animals were, though Mike would say the anaconda and the tiger for sure ;), such a Daddy's boy! It was so much fun to see him wide-eyed and interested in everything! He smiled and babbled quite a bit during his awake times and we are really looking forward to taking him back when he gets older!!
Pictures will come in the next couple of days, we've got to get busy packing! Our move is scheduled in 15 days, YIKES! Love to all!!

Meme for Mommy
My sister-in-law tagged me in her blog to do one of these little Mommy surveys, hope you enjoy getting to know me a bit better, if you didnt already know things!
Meme for Mommy
1. What were you doing 10 years ago?
Let's see, I was 12 years old. I dont even know what grade that was, but I was living in Tuolumne, enjoying my youth :)!
2. Things on my "To Do" list for today?
Ugh, a lot of things. Need to start packing, schedule some appts, pay some bills, straighten up the apartment, find moving boxes, place an ad in the newspaper up north for our last remaining puppy....
3. What is your favorite snack?
I love yogurt, bagels and cream cheese (though thats a rarity), cheezits, pretzels, granola bars, trail mix, ANY and EVERY kind of fruit :)..
4. If you were a millionaire, you would...
Be a lot less stressed out right now ;)!. Pay off debt, buy our own house, put money aside for Brayden, put money aside for retirement, buy a boat, help family out with finances, and donate some to a LOT of organizations we support!
5. List 5 places you have lived.
Only 5? That's Easy
-Blue Oak St, Camarillo, CA
-Medford, OR
-Tuolumne, CA
-Point Mugu, CA
-Thousand Oaks, CA

San Diego, here we come!
Tomorrow Mike has a medical appt on one of the bases in San Diego to see an allergy specialist. Since he has to go down there anyways, we decided to make a day of it and go to the San Diego Zoo too!! We're super excited since neither of us have been there before! We'll get a great deal since Brayden is a freebie, Mike gets in free and I get in at a discount! It's going to be a quick, one day trip, we're leaving at 4:30 in the morning tomorrow so that Mike can make his appt in time, but be looking for pictures soon!!! :)! Love to all!

Pictures
It has been duley (is that spelled right?) noted that there have not been picture posted in awhile. Thanks to those of you who have been so patient with us in our lack of updates, unlike a certain grandma who lives in Oregon, who shall remain nameless; who is totally IMpatient! ;)! Haha! We have still been quite under the weather. All three of us got the Brayden Bug, haha. Mike was over it quickly, thankfully, since he is the one who has to go to work everyday! But Brayden and I took the brunt of it and are still working on getting over the yucky coughs and icky noses. I have gotten quite a few great pics recently, contrary to those who may believe I am not photographing the little one enough! I think I took about 25 pictures of him today alone! (I'm not kidding either) it is that, one, havent felt well enough to post them, and two, have been preoccupied in the time I do feel well enough to do anything with other things, and three, cant find our camera cord at the moment, though I have a hunch where it is now that I think about it. Anyways, a lot of words, and teasing for a certain Grandma, just to let you all know, pictures are on their way, soner rather than later! Love to all!

Date Night and Wiggle Worm
Two little updates for today!
Mike and I were able to have our third date since we've had Brayden, last night, thanks to Grandma and Grandpa Kraft, who watched the little guy! We got a quick bite to eat and then went to go see the movie Fireproof, which is now our new favorite movie! We really recommend it to anyone who is married! Check it out at www.fireproofthemovie.com. It was a really wonderful time to have to ourselves and it was so relaxing too!
Brayden is doing great, getting bigger and bigger and we just cant believe it! He has become SUCH a wiggle worm lately.] which is super adorable, he kicks and moves his arms, and just last night when we got home from our date night started lifting both legs off the floor at the same time, almost lifting his little butt off the floor! It's super cute, however, he has started to do it at night now when it is bedtime or after his mid-night feeding. Last night he just layed like that in his pack and play for about 30 minutes kicking and flailing and goofing off. I wasn't really tired so I just enjoyed laying there watching him play and figure new things out! He had another Dr appt this week because he got another mild case of thrush come back that thankfully we caught early on and are already treating, but our Dr. also told us to start giving him a little apple juice after he eats a few times a day to help with his constipation, and of course, he LOVES it!
Thats about it! Hope you all have a great weekend!
