Random Brayden-ness

Being a monster the night before Daddy got home, took a late nap, therefore woke up at 10 am and wanted to play with Mommy! I found him in his crib like this, one arm out, both legs out, just kicking and laughing, silly boy...

Mike is home and I am finally complete. It's the most peaceful and restful feeling I've ever had to know he's here and pretty much out of the Navy, and never leaving again :)!!

Sorry for the lack of upates for the last few days, Brayden and I have been soaking up every minute we can with Daddy, and also, the three of us have been VERY busy unpacking, putting furniture together, etc. I promise to post pictures and updates soon but just wanted to thank you all for all your prayers and sweet thoughts for Mike's homecoming!

Laundry Room Painting!

The pictures dont do the color justice, because its B-E-A-utiful, I love it, it's fantastic! It's the perfect color to make a chores room, FUN! (can you tell I like it?) The color is called Swimming Pool and I did just one wall of the laundry room right now because I can't move the washer and dryer due to my shoulder injury, so hopefully Mike and I will finish it this weekend! More pictures to come, of course!

Brayden in his new swimming outfit for the summer from Emily! We are going toh ave to send her the shirt and shorts back though, because we need a bigger size! We're going to need to get a few of these sets for playing in the backyard and going to the Lake!

Beautiful Spring Day! I love the landscape in the frontyard of this house, and the flag flying in the wind!

Playing in his exersaucer in the backyard while Mommy raked pine needles. I filled that cup with ice cubes and water and he played and splashed the whole time!

So Big!

I was looking through Brayden's first pictures from the hospital right now and started to get teary eyed! Our little guy is 9 months old today and getting SO big! Here is one of the priceless and precious very first pictures of our son, our beautiful baby boy! Later today I will post pictures of the little man when he gets up from his nap! It's been a busy day of getting up on all fours, playing outside in his exersaucer with ice and cups of water and wet rags, and chowing like a chow hound! Love to all!

Brayden and I took a walk this morning around Chester while the work was being done on our ceiling again, we had a great time!

The Alligator Puppet

I know this probably seems mean, but it was really funny and he didnt cry! He loved all the other puppets but this one! I wonder what it was about the alligator/dinosaur that scared him?

Bananas

I gave Brayden some cut up bananas for breakfast the other morning and he liked playing with the more than eating them ;)! If you look at his hands you can see banana mush! I had just given him a bath the night before!!

Bear Bath

As long as we have had Bear he has always LOVED to lick Mike's hair, the other night, Bear came and layed down next to Brayden while we were playing on the carpet and started licking his hair like crazy! Here is the after shot! :)!

Studs

We bought this shirt for Brayden months ago and I have been waiting to put him in it and it finally fits him! It's my favorite shirt for him! I love my studs :)!!!

Bible Verse

I read this Bible verse this morning and it instantly impacted my heart and I had to share it:
