today, Mike and I had our small wedding ceremony at Calvary Chapel Camarillo with just a few in attendance and became Mr. and Mrs. Michael Kincaid :)! We "celebrate" our anniversary on September 2nd, when we had our large ceremony with most of our family and friends, but we still celebrate today as well :)! The very best day of my life for sure! Three years and falling even more in love all the time! I definetely could not ask for more; my soulmate, my best friend, my hubby and so much more! I love you Mike!!!

Look how much he has changed!
My good friend Lindsey suggested I post a picture comparison from when Brayden was just born, to right now, Brayden at 5 months old! So here you all go! I cant believe how much he has changed! The first picture is Brayden at 9 days old, and the second is Brayden at 5 months old!

Brayden...
made the newspaper! Our Pastor's wife works for the newspaper up here and she was taking pictures of the Santa and Mrs. Claus meet and greet a couple of weeks ago and got a cuper cute picture of Brayden with Santa! I will take a picture of the article later on today; Mike's dad just showed us! Exciting :)!

My Snow Boy!
We stepped outside just for a second and I had Katie and Elijah take a couple pictures of me with Brayden with his first snow experience! He was a little puzzled as to what was falling on his little head but other than that, he didn't seem to think much of it! I just uploaded these pictures so that I could put them on the blog and when I saw the first one, I just couldnt believe how big Brayden looks! 5 months old next week, geeze! We'll have more pictures soon with my Snow Man <3 because he is coming TOMORROW! :D!!!!

Winter Wonderland!
Brayden is doing great and we can't believe he is going to be 5 months next week! He is trying to hard to sit up all on his own and as you can see from a couple of the pictures, can do a pretty good job when he is leaning forward, he just has to get his balance and sit up straight! If I dont sit right there with him, he will topple over and when I let him do that, only if he is sitting somewhere soft, he gets himself all stretched out on his tummy and then just rolls over, it's so cute! I also think he's getting closer to getting that first tooth! Lots of drooling and chewing! He's working on rolling over from his back to tummy and has done it once or twice, in a very long process with staying on his side for quite awhile, but it will be no time before he is doing it all on his own and smoothly and then will be rolling all over the house, sheesh! I'm trying to keep him from growing up too fast, it doesn't seem to be working so far! Also, something cute I have yet to get on tape, but Brayden has been making a new noise lately, or at least a lot more often, by putting his lips together and blowing, I do it back and forth with him and he just cracks up! He's also enjoying standing with assistance and bouncing on those chubby legs! He is really hoping to get an exersaucer from a certain pair of grandparents this Christmas! He's doing great with the rice cereal, which I am still just mixing into his bottle at the moment, last night he only woke up once and it was at 5:30 in the morning, I consider that a success! He loves our Christmas tree and will just lay on his playmat and stare at the lights, so cute! He can't wait for his daddy to be up here on Monday and neither can Mommy! Please pray for safe travels for Mike since we should have snow by then and it might be snowing while he is driving up the mountain too! Here are some pictures from the last couple of days! Hope you all are enjoying the holiday season!

Rice Cereal!
I went ahead and tried Brayden on some rice cereal this afternoon and he took it great! Just a very little bit, about 1 tbsp in 6 oz of formula, but I wanted to see how it helps him stay full longer. He's been waking up anywhere from 2-4 times a night the past couple of weeks just starving, and eating about an 8 oz bottle each time! Hopefully it helps! I am going to try it again tonight before bedtime, the same amount and see how he does! :)!

Meeting the REAL Santa!
Tonight the Westwood Chamber of Commerce put on the annual "meet and greet" with Santa. It was so much fun and Brayden and I wished Daddy could have been there! I wanted to make sure and write about it tonight before its not so fresh in my memory. We got there (me, Brayden, Mike's Mom and Dad, Katie (Mike's lil sis), and Elijah (mike's nephew)) and there were a ton of kids and families already there. They had various little tables set up, one put on by our church, Calvary Chapel Westwood, where kids made a stable and glued and colored a picture of Mary, Joseph, and Jesus, and where Katie and a couple other little girls read One Night in Bethlehem, another table where they let each kid pick out a brand new book to take home (Brayden got a Pooh Bear book called No Honey), one where the kids could make a stocking ornament, and another where you could get cookies and cocoa! And the best part of the night, Santa and Mrs. Claus came to see all the kids! They showed up on one of the local firetrucks and then sat in some chairs at the front of the town hall and had each kid come up one by one to get a bag of candy, tell Santa what they wanted, and get their picture taken. We finally made it up to Santa, and I took Brayden up first, I handed him over to Santa and both his Grandma Kincaid, and the photographer snapped some pictures, and then Santa didn't want to give Brayden back! He just thought Brayden was the cutest thing and kept saying he was going to keep him and how Brayden even had blue eyes like his, so they had to be related :). Both Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus were very sweet on Brayden and he really loved them too! Then Katie and Elijah both went up to Santa as well to tell him what they wanted and then we got a group polaroid taken of all 3 Kincaid grandchildren, this time, Brayden sat on Mrs. Claus' lap, and as you will be able to tell from the pictures I post tomorrow, he wanted the bells that she had in her hand! It was a really great time, and like I said, I really wish Mike could have been there. It's one of those perfect things of living in a small town, and it really got me in the holiday spirit! It was so much fun to get Brayden dressed up in his First Christmas onesie and little reindeer booties and bib! I'll post pictures tomorrow! Goodnight!

Prayers for my boys!
I have a prayer request for those of you who read our blog, first off for Mike. Apparently this morning while playing basketball, he hurt his ankle pretty badly. He isn't sure yet if it is just badly sprained or broken since it just happened and he is just now in the medical office. Please keep him in your prayers, that he heals quickly and that it isnt anything serious! He is still down in Southern California until next Friday and I really wish I could be there to take care of him! I'm really hoping its just a sprain (which at times, can feel like its worse than a break) and I will let you all know once I hear back from him.
**Update: Mike just got out of medical and his left ankle is badly sprained but not broken! He has a walking cast and just has to keep it elevated and iced!**
Also, if you can please pray for Brayden, we would really appreciate it. He's been having a problem with spitting/throwing up lately and I am working on getting him a Dr. appt up here to get it checked out. He has been eating more the last few weeks, as a growing boy should, and spits up often, but it seems that recently, he has been throwing/spitting up after almost every feeding. He's eating a lot, and acting completely normal, just maybe having a reflux type of a thing? We hope its nothing more than just having a sensitive tummy, which we know he has. Also, I think he has been fighting off a cold starting yesterday, and had a rough time sleeping last night, so hopefully its a quick one if anything and all of us Kincaid's get back to being 100% healthy soon!
Thanks for your prayers!
