Vacation Part 2

And... IT'S STILL SNOWING :)! Gotta love it! I even ventured outside for a half hour earlier to watch Mike and his brother work on the fence and get some snowfall on me, it was soooo nice! Cant wait to take a drive in it later!

Vacationing in a Winter Wonderland Part 1

Hi everyone! Been a few days since I updated this, and since I am on bedrest, I guess I dont have much of an excuse anymore, especially with a baby on the way and more to write about! I am laying here on the couch looking out the windows at the beautiful snow covered wonderland outside!! Mike and I are up at his parents house for the long weekend and got up here just this morning!
We had a very long drive last night due to some accidents in Simi Valley and the amount of snow on "the mountain" coming up to his parents, but we made it here safely none the less! I rested earlier, ok, who am I kidding, all I do is rest! But, my adorable and extremely hard working husband is asleep on my feet right now finally catching up from driving ALL night long without a nap.

The dogs are loving it up here, a good thing considering Cali and Bear will be here for the next month and a half, and Mike and I are loving getting another chance to visit with our family! We are so blessed to have Christmas be a whole season for us, thanks to so many family gatherings and fun times, and are really enjoying actually feeling the "winter-ness" of the season!

And now for the information everyone REALLY wants ;)! Baby Kincaid seems to be doing just fine, taking his or her toll on mommy these last few days as I have continued to be extremely naucious, without break at sometimes! I have my next doctor appt on Jan 4th, and am on bedrest through the 17th for right now, so its just about taking it easy and enjoying the time I have with Mike home!

As promised I am going to work hard on getting some pictures up tomorrow of both our Christmas season and recent happenings as well as the beginnings of our trip up here!

Happy Anniversary to Us!!!!

Yup! Two years ago today Mike and I had our small private wedding right before the Christmas Eve Service at Calvary Chapel Camarillo, it was very intimate and romantic and one of the very best memories I have to look back on. Now we're about to start our third year of marriage which already looks to be most adventurous with expecting our first child, Mike looking to be deployed this coming Spring, and towards the end of the year, looking forward to almost being OUT OF THE NAVY!!

We cant really do too much to celebrate today since I am on bedrest, but Mike is going to make us a very nice "Christmas/Anniversary" dinner and we are going to go look at some of the Christmas Lights in Camarillo!

We're Having a BABY!

Hi all! Most of you already know this, but for those of you who dont, Mike and I are expecting out first little one this coming August! He or she has a due date of August 10, 2008 and I am exactly 7 weeks pregnant today!!! We are SOOOO excited beyond words and have been dying to share our great news with everyone! More information to come!!!!

We also have had two ultrasounds, Laura had one at the Hospital last weekend, but wasnt able to get a copy of it, and then Mike and I had our first official one with my doctor this past Thursday! Baby is doing great and has a perfect heartbeat! We'll try to scan it and get it up here soon even though there isn't much to see so far!!!

A Gingerbread Tradition in the Making

Hi everyone,

I know its been awhile since I posted anything, its been a very busy time in our lives lately, but not a whole lot of picture taking! In the last few weeks Mike has been gone on a workup, which is extremely hard for me, so I tend to become a bit reclusive during these times. Also, since then, Mike and I have decided to move off base for numerous reasons and have been actively searching for a new home to rent! We think we just might have found one in Fillmore, we just have to go and check it out this week!

Anyways, enough of my blabbering, here are some pictures taken a few weeks ago when Mike was still home when we built our second Gingerbread creation for our new family tradition we decided to start! Last year was a house that ended disasterously and this year we attempted a tree which came out much cuter then the one on the box if I do say so myself!!
