Funny Boy

• With some help, Brayden has gotten into the crawling position a couple of times. He immediately goes back down on his tummy, but its fun to get him to do it as long as he wants too. Unforunately, I think he knows its so much easier to just have somebody carry him around all the time rather than put forth the effort to crawl. We've already seen this "laziness" in action already when he doesn't feel like rolling all the way over so he just lies there on his side until someone flips him, or until he decides to completely roll over....

• Mr. Brayden can also sit up on his own now. I can get through quite a few books, or even sit with him to watch an entire baby video, without him tumbling and he is getting more sturdy every day. Because he can sit up on his own, we got him a fun rubber ducky tub that you all have seen in pictures, it's only for babies who can sit up on their own. Can, being the operative word. Brayden can sit up, whether or not he wants too, that's up to him. He's decided to lounge in the tub instead of sit, which is fine, because we don't make the water to deep. He also likes to play with the cup we rinse him with too. He has tried drinking the water out of the cup a couple times now but learned another new trick today. If he just skooches down enough in the tub, he can stick his tongue out and get to the water without having to put the effort forth of grabbing the cup and puting it to his mouth...

Are these signs of a smart baby, or are we just in some serious trouble? :)
